“The Reason I Jump” is a collection of essays by nonverbal and autistic Naoki Higashida from Japan. The film based on this book is a journey into the world of autism—intense, burdensome, often joyful, unique and sensuous. Join us to learn about the diversity and complexity of the autistic spectrum. The film will point us to the challenges faced by people with autism, their families, and the society at large. The meeting will include a Q&A and discussion session.
