This year’s Senior Documentary Academy presents two movies discussed by renowned Wrocław film scholar Jacek Szymański, longtime Film Society activist and Senior Film Club mentor. Tuesday’s offering depicts the unique friendship between a man and a cephalopod. Craig Foster, a diver swimming in South African waters, sparked an interesting connection with a young octopus. Is interspecies friendship even possible between creatures as different as those two? How can such an experience change a human?
