One of the oldest movie theaters in Poland, the historic Pomorzanin, which closed over 10 years ago, is now joining the ranks of festival cinemas for a handful of screenings. Located in the heart of Bydgoszcz, the Pomorzanin—over 100 years old!—is undergoing a painstaking restoration. The presence of the festival in this incredible location will significantly support this process.
In 1961, Secretary General of the UN, Dag Hammarskjöld, died in a plane crash in Northern Rhodesia. The circumstances of the plane crash were always unclear but now the UN are reopening the case on the suspicion of assassination. The question is, who wanted Hammarskjöld dead?
