The DKF “Centrum” Film Society will return in October; meanwhile, join us for a special September screening of a documentary about Miloš Forman, one of the greatest masters of the cinematic arts. This engrossing movie, assembled from copious archival footage, shows the Czech director talking about his life. This is not just an opportunity to learn more about one of the most important artists of the Czechoslovak New Wave—it also lets the viewer examine the fascinating, lesser-known aspects of film history as well as sociopolitical issues. The screening will be followed by the traditional Film Society debate over tea and coffee in the foyer.
