Meeting with architect and historian of architecture Ryszard Nakonieczny, D.Eng, following the screening of THE NEW BAUHAUS
In the 1920s, László Moholy-Nagy taught at the Bauhaus school in Weimar alongside such greats as Paul Klee, Vassily Kandinsky, or Marcel Breuer. He developed an approach that became the ethos of his work—he trained artists to live “happier lives in modernity”. This film documents the life and heritage of an innovative artist and teacher, one whose approach to the integration of technology and design remains an inspiration that reverberates in today’s world of art.
Together with architect Ryszard Nakonieczny, D.Eng, we will discuss the protagonist of this film and his modern legacy—not just ideological—as the creator of New Bauhaus.
