Festival Opening Night. Screening of “Photographer of War”, dir. Boris Benjamin Bertram and meeting with Jan Grarup
The opening film of this year’s edition of MDAG is Boris Benjamin Bertram’s “Photographer of War”, followed by a discussion with Jan Grarup, the protagonist of the film. The Danish photographer has been capturing shocking catastrophes and tragedies all over the world for over 25 years. His long list of accolades includes 8 World Press Photo awards. The screening and discussion will be accompanied by “Our Daily Genocides”, a photo exhibition specially designed for the festival and displayed in the interior of the Iluzjon cinema.
