The Shake Your Board skateboarding workshop is open to girls of all levels of skill—from beginners to advanced boarders. Shake Your Board is a team of skateboarding girls formed in 2009 that organizes events, meetups, and skateboarding classes for girls. The team is currently working on “Shake Your Streets”, a feature-length film about skateboarding starring only girls. Shake Your Board wants to share the hype and show that boarding unites instead of dividing. Girls and boys alike can try their skills at boarding, form a crew, and pursue their passion together—because unity is strength!
