Screening of THE PAINTER AND THE THIEF and meeting with ….
Barbora Kysilkova, a Czech painter living in Oslo, finds out that two of her paintings have been stolen from a gallery exhibition. The thief is quickly arrested thanks to CCTV footage. Barbora attends the hearing and asks to meet the perpetrator, Karl Bertil Nordland. She’d love to recover her paintings, but she also finds his personality fascinating. The thief and the author of the stolen artworks gradually become friends.
