A family of Nepalese Sherpas breaks a taboo by accompanying renowned European climbers—Pole Marcin Tomaszewski and Russians Dmitri Golovchenko and Sergei Nilov—to Kumbhakarna, a holy mountain of the Sherpas in the Himalayas. Their wages will fund their son’s schooling. Unfortunately, the expedition is plagued by constant snowfall… and that’s only the first of numerous mounting challenges. Will the gods forgive their audacity?
