The movie follows AI pioneers working on refining its abilities. Join us for a discussion with an expert on AIs, Jacek Dąbrowski of Synerise, as we try to examine the questions posed by the film: is artificial intelligence safe? How does it influence who we are? What goals and values do we encode in it, and can we even control it?

Jacek Dąbrowski — Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer at Synerise, he heads the team in charge of the Synerise AI platform. He studied mathematics, computer sciences, and psychology at the University of Warsaw. Disappointed with the lack of mathematical rigor and inadequate amounts of data in social sciences, he decided to try to understand human nature through big data and machine learning. Synerise lets him pursue this passion through his work with hundreds of billions of consumer activity data.
Moderator:
Piotr Maciantowicz — he has a degree in Philosophy, but film sciences, animation, and education are his passion. Active in the municipal cultural institution Estrada Poznańska. Music promoter, film programmer, lecturer, MC, DJ, cultural producer, father, cultural animator—a veritable one-man orchestra. Collaborates with Ale Kino!, Animator, and other film festivals. Juror at the Gdynia Film Festival and Caminhos do Cinema Português in Coimbra. In his pursuits Maciantowicz prioritizes dialogue and contact with the audience. A sense of humor and a relaxed attitude even toward the most complex problems are his best weapons.
