The Polish Home Movie Archive aims to gather and digitize private amateur films shot in postwar Poland. The archive will be housed in the new building of the Museum of Modern Art at Plac Defilad. The founders of the Polish Home Movie Archive will discuss the nature of this unique initiative and the importance of digitizing and preserving home footage.

Maciej J. Drygas, PhD—initiator of the Polish Home Movie Archive, film and radio director, producer, screenwriter, lecturer at the Lodz Film School.

Katarzyna Karwańska—curator of the Polish Home Movie Archive, curator and producer of numerous films and exhibitions. Employed at the MoMA in Warsaw since 2008, she took the helm of the Tomasz Machciński Foundation in 2017.
