B.K.S. Iyengar pranayama session following the screening of  IYENGAR: THE MAN, YOGA, AND THE STUDENT’S JOURNEY

Language: Polish

Partner institution: Iyengar Yoga Association in Poland

Join us for a pranayama session after the screening of IYENGAR: THE MAN, YOGA, AND THE STUDENT’S JOURNEY, using the B.K.S. Iyengar method to provide relief from incessant thoughts and bring a deep sense of calm. Simple asanas performed before the session will stretch your breathing muscles, developing your awareness of breath and prana energy flow in this space. Breathing is the basic function of all living organisms and a prerequisite of life. In the Indian tradition human lives are measured not in years, but in the number of breaths.

The Iyengar Yoga Association in Poland is a non-profit organization which focuses on promoting yoga and all attitudes beneficial to the mental and physical development of humankind. The Association performs, preserves, and promotes yoga teachings according to the traditions and guidelines set forth by Guru B.K.S. Iyengar.
